Dear members and colleagues,
The Financial Secretary assumes one of the most important elected positions of the Local. It is imperative that the person occupying this position has the required capacity and knowledge to properly fulfill the duties.
For the past 21 years, I have been privileged to occupy several significant positions in our union; whether at the Local level as District Vice President, Regional Vice President, District Chairperson or as a member of the Bargaining Committee at Air Canada for the past six years.
At the national level, thanks to my leadership, competencies and rallying skills, I was elected to represent 22,000 members as Financial Secretary of the CAW Quebec Council for a three-year term before being elected for a third consecutive term as President.
I also occupy a seat on the National Executive Board of CAW-Canada, as well as being a member of the Board of Directors of the CAW Social Justice Fund.
My 21 years of experience has given me the expertise necessary to assume the duties of the position of Financial Secretary and to assist our leaders in each of our local units.
